(I had to supply my own interpretation which was nowhere near as beautifully executed as this one) 😂😅 While the village of Wilsgrave is fictional, it is loosely based on two places, very close to where I live.       This month has been a bit hectic, with a sneaky ho This month has been a bit hectic, with a sneaky holiday as well as starting a brand new book, but I wouldn’t have it any other way and I do feel so lucky that this is my reality 💓 However, as always, I’ve still found time to get some reading in! These are my favourite reads of 2026 so far… I was very fortunate to get an advance copy of Secrets of the Italian Guesthouse by one of my favourite authors @suemoorcroftauthor. I couldn’t put this one down, it’s full of glorious sunshine, the wonderful flavours of Italy and a gripping plot. Sue always delivers original stories with fascinating dilemmas and problems for her characters. I love the way her books are so beautifully plotted. The other book I read and loved was Only Rakes Need Apply by Kate Pearce. She’s a new author but boy can she write a rollicking good Regency Romance. Another unputdownable read full of originality and brilliant characters. Highly recommended. #ReadingRecommendation #TBR #ReadingPile
